Robertson Family
I love this family! I’m so glad we were able to schedule photos before their oldest took off to BYU (you might remember her senior photos and prom photos we did earlier!). We had a blast that morning. Their mom told me that she told the kids to get ready, I don’t care what you wear. Turns out they all came down wearing similar colors. How perfect is that!?

My Family
Meet my family. Well, my kids at least đ I really wanted to get Christmas cards out this year, and didn’t have a current family photo! It’s kind of like the shoemaker’s kids not having any shoes haha. The last family photo I have is from when my baby was 1!! How horrible is that?! That had to change! With my hubby bouncing around the continent for work I knew it would be challenging to get him and myself in the photos, so, I figured an updated photo of the kids would do.
On the first day that the snow covered the trees and barely the ground, I got my kids all ready and we headed out in the bitter cold to get an updated photo of them. I still can’t believe I was able to get together 5 outfits that morning!! Let me tell you this was NOT an easy task. Normally I spend a few weeks arranging outfits and planning what they’ll wear. Instead I borrowed all the vests and a couple shirts from friends and family (thanks guys!). I am amazed that it came together so fast. I have to remind myself that it’s not about the outfit but about capturing memories. Are their outfits perfect? Definitely not! Does that matter? Most definitely not! What’s important is that I have these images of my kids together happy and smiling, frozen in time as they were at that moment. And when I remember that, that’s all that matters.
I love these little (and not so little) rascals. They bring me so much joy and I couldn’t imagine life without them! Their personalities are so different and wonderful, making each day interesting and fun in new ways. Each one has different talents and strengths that bring something special to our family. Looking at these photos reminds me that they do love each other!  I hope that they can continue to develop their relationships as time goes on!
GORDON FAMILY
Meet the wonderful Gordon family! I felt honored that they would make the long drive from Edmonton so that I could photograph their family. Thanks, you guys! We had a lot of fun and dad was making a lot of ridiculous faces to get the kids to smile. It’s not always easy to get natural smiles out of teenage boys (I know, I have one haha!) but dad had everyone in smiling. It was all behind my back, so I’m still a little nervous as to what was really going on, but regardless, it was worth it! Thanks for the wonderful morning, Gordon family! And if you’re wondering, yes, this is Confederation Park. I love this little spot. It’s so lovely.
I am ecstatic to see this photo of the Gordon family on a 30×40″ canvas that they’ve ordered!! I think this image was my favorite family shot from their session and turns out it was theirs too! Can’t wait to see it up on their wall. I absolutely LOVE it when not only do clients get their photos printed but go BIG! Print your photos people!! There’s something about seeing your family photos printed and not on a computer. Hang them on your walls. Print them and put them in an old school photo album. Make a coffee table album (which I’m more than happy to help you with!). JUST PRINT THEM! đ If you’re interested in family photos shoot me an email, I’m now booking for spring 2017
