Burnham Family – Edmonton Family Photography
I had the pleasure of going up to Edmonton a couple weekends ago to hang out with some fabulous ladies. While I was there I was able to take family photos for one of my dearest friends. Her kids are SO cute! My Livie still talks about Jackson and how she’s going to marry him. I love it.
You can see why she still talks about him right? Total stud!
And this little guy – Maren, can you imagine all the trouble our two boys would be in if we still lived up there? haha
Ok, this little missy steals my heart. I got to spend some time with the kids that weekend, but Ellie and I became best buds during that time. I love that she would snuggle up to me, jabbering away like I could understand. Oh how I miss them!
“The family is one of Nature’s masterpieces” – George Santayana
I love this family. I know I probably say that about all the families I photograph, but I truly do. I met Natasha back during my Edmonton days while my hubby was in law school. I have so many fond memories with her and we’ve had some fantastic photo shoots together. I felt very honored that she and her family were willing to make the drive down from Edmonton for me to take their family photos.
And I just want to give a little shout out to Laura for her help and all the props that day. Thank you!
The kids were starting to get a little restless so we hopped in our vans and drove to McKay’s Ice Cream Shop. The twins had their first ice cream cone ever and I’m so glad to have been there to catch their reactions. They LOVED it! Little Gloria wasn’t quite sure what to do with it and kept trying to eat the cone first. They were covered and enjoyed every second. Wesley was so sweet and would come and share his with Laura and I. I just love these kids.
And really what can I say about Natasha… She is simply stunning. A photo I took of her a few years back won an International photo contest – need I say more. I love love love photographing her. She knows exactly what to do without any direction and makes my job that much easier. And Glen, you were great also 🙂 Thanks for being awesome you two!
Brett, Rocko & Ryan – Calgary Family Photography
I met Brett back in highschool, (I won’t say how long ago as I don’t want to date myself haha) and it was wonderful to reconnect and meet her family. I had to laugh when I found out we’ve been living only a few blocks away from each other for the past two years. What are the odds?
It was great to see you again Brett. Hope you enjoy your sneak peak
This little miss was so serious, but SO adorable. And those cheeks and lips kill me!
Matt, Shelby & the girls
Shelby and her family braved the cold with me a few weeks ago for their family photos, and it’s a good thing we went when we did. We’re now sitting at a balmy -35C (that’s -31F, if you were wondering). It’s amazing how Calgary can go from 5C to -35C back up to the +s (well, at least the forecast SAYS back to the +s) in a matter of weeks. Anyhow, thanks for braving the cold with me. Such a great family!!
