Lyla
Meet my adorable niece, Lyla. She is the sweetest, happiest little love bug!
SCOTLAND
I know I’ve said I don’t normally do this, but after much debate, I have slowly started taking on lifestyle newborn sessions. And I’m loving them! This particular session is of my new niece, Scotland. She was born on September 30th weighing in at 4 pounds 14 ounces!! Sooooooo teeny tiny!! I have been to the birth of most of my nieces and nephews, but sadly for Scottie’s birth my kids and I were sick and there was no way I was going anywhere near a baby or hospital then. It broke my heart! Thankfully I was able to do maternity photos (you can check those out here) before Scotland arrived, and then these newborn photos of her and my sister, Katelyn. I still can’t get over how tiny she was!! I loved being able to snuggle her and capture her little yawn, tiny toes, and her with her mom. I think Katelyn looks beautiful and I love her and Scottie together. They’re just so sweet. I am starting to enjoy newborn photos, doneĀ a little different š So, here’sĀ Scottie at just 11 days new!
FAIRBANKS – Lifestyle Newborn Session
I’m not usually one to do newborn photos, but when one of my favorite clients says they’ve just had their 5th boy I couldn’t help myself and had to take them! We opted for a lifestyle newborn and family session in their beautiful home. The boys were wonderful and mom had everyone looking awesome. And I have to say, I never looked as good as she did after ANY of my babies. I’m so impressed, Jenny! It’s so fun to see the boys grow and see their ever blossoming personalities. You can check out their past sessions HERE and HERE.Ā Thank you for having me in your home to capture these precious memories for you, Fairbanks family.
Baby Burns
I love love LOVEĀ being able to attend the birth of a new little bundle and photograph the miracle that it is!! I love seeing the tender touches, hearing the reassuring words, and being able to witness the miracle that the whole birth process is. Each birth is completely unique and beautiful. I still can’t believe I’ve been through it 5 times myself! Totally worth it I might add š
This adorable baby boy came into the world a whopping 8 pounds 4 ounces, with the most adorable bum chin and dimple in his cheek. Mom did amazing and I loved watching dad do what he could to help. It’s interesting being on the other end of things. It’s hard to watch someone go through the unbearable pain and not be able to do anything. I feel for dads! And mom had the best midwives ever!! They were both there for my last baby’s birth!! If you’re contemplating a birth photographer at your next birth, don’t think, just do it! It is 150% worth it!
Ok, that’sĀ enough writing, here’s baby Burns’ birth day…
